Public worship at Gloucester Cathedral this Sunday 5 July

Worship for all returns to Gloucester Cathedral this week from 5 July. The Cathedral Eucharist on Sundays is at 10.15am and all are welcome. Similarly, on each weekday Monday to Saturday, there will be a short service of Holy Communion at 12.30pm and again, all are welcome. All worship will be offered in accordance with government and church guidance in terms of health and safety. If you wish to attend, please send an email to prayers@gloucestercathedral.org.uk to indicate your attendance (before or after the service) stating clearly your name/s and contact details in order to comply with the track and trace process. Thank you.

Dean Stephen said, “It is a great relief that worship for all can return to the cathedral, even if we must offer it carefully and in a modified way in accordance with important guidance. For July and August this pattern of worship will be a reliable and safe way in which people can come and receive Communion. Social distancing is possible in such a large building and we are pleased to be able to offer this to the diocese as worship gradually returns in every place as appropriate”.

As well as indicating your attendance, prayer requests can be emailed to the email address above which will be prayed at the service of that day.
