Thy Kingdom Come 2019

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have invited parishes across England to join a great wave of prayer between Ascension and Pentecost 2019.

The three aims are:

  • To join in prayer with the whole family of God the Father
  • To pray for the empowering of God the Holy Spirit
  • That we may be effective witnesses to God the Son, Jesus Christ.

We’ll be sharing faith stories every day of Thy Kingdom Come 2019:

Local events

‘Light up the World’ can be found online at www.thykingdomcome.global/lightuptheworld. Put simply – when you register an event or pledge to pray, your local area will light up. As more people commit to prayer so more of the country will be lit up – showing the spread of prayer over our parishes, dioceses and nation.

You can also inform *protected email* if you are running a #ThyKingdomCome event. Events can be viewed on the ‘pledge2pray’ map page of the www.thykingdomcome.global website.
