Junior Surveyor
The Diocese of Gloucester is recruiting for a Junior Surveyor to work in the Diocesan Property and Development Department which manages four main areas:
1. Facilities management of clergy housing property portfolio with an expenditure budget of over £1m.
2. Facilities management of the Diocesan offices.
3. Facilities management of Ann Edwards Charity (Almshouses).
4. Management of new build developments on Parsonage and Glebe Land. From initial concept, through planning, design and build stages, providing new housing for clergy or an income through open market sale to support the mission of the Church.
The overall purpose of this largely office based post is to provide a professional property advisory service owned, managed and maintained by the GDBF. The Junior Surveyor will be responsible through the Head of Property & Development (HP&D) for the reactive maintenance for the Diocesan property portfolio, Diocesan Offices, and Ann Edward Mews Charity Almshouses.
