The Bishop of Gloucester and patron, the Crown seek to appoint a mission-minded priest to this welcoming and community-focussed benefice with active children and youth ministry, who would like to develop their unity, vision and mission as a benefice together, sharing resources and seeking to grow the kingdom of God.

The person appointed will:

  • Have a vision and passion for rural ministry and a pastoral heart
  • Be an effective team leader, encouraging the gifts of all
  • Be an excellent communicator and an able leader of change
  • Build on links with schools, continuing the growth and development of the children and youth work.

This is a benefice which is looking forward, excited for the future and wanting to develop their mission together. They offer their energy, support and prayers.

There are three churches, three PCCs, one Church school, and a variety of worship styles with ministry supported by one Reader, local active retired clergy, lay leaders and a part time youth worker.
